Nurković Breaks Silence After SSU Move

Newly signed SuperSport United striker Samir Nurković has expressed gratitude upon sealing a move to Tshwane and looks forward to once again be reunited with “best coach” Gavin Hunt.

Nurković, 32, joined Matsatsantsa following is departure from TS Galaxy on a one-and-a-half-year deal, and will reunite with Hunt having previously worked together during their time at Kaizer Chiefs in 2020/21.

The towering Serbian striker netted 21 goals with 10 assists in 78 games during his time at Naturena, and hopes to replicate his goalscoring form under “best coach” Hunt.

“I feel optimistic and excited about working under Coach Gavin Hunt once again,” ‘Kokota Piano’ told the club’s media.

“The feeling is amazing and I’m super excited to work, in my opinion, under one of the best coaches in South Africa.

“Coach Gavin Hunt is known for his strong leadership and ability to bring out the best in his players.

“This gives me a great opportunity to grow as a player and contribute significantly to the team’s overall success.
