Kaizer Chiefs have announced the signing of left-back Nkanyiso Shinga ahead of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership campaign.
The Glamour Boys are gearing up for the new term after winning the Nedbank Cup but finished in ninth position which saw them miss out on the MTN8 competition.

The club has already parted ways with Edmilson Dove, Ranga Chivaviro, Mduduzi Mdantsane, Sabelo Radebe and Njabulo Blom whose loan was not extended and has since returned to St Louis City.
Amakhosi announced their first signing on Tuesday, with Shinga joining from FC Alverca in Portugal.
“We are pleased to announce the signing of 25-year old Nkanyiso Shinga. The talented left-back is a versatile operator who can also play in midfield and attack. He will don jersey #74,” the club stated.
Shinga is a product of the KZN Academy, but moved to Europe at an early age. For the past 10 years, he’s played for different clubs in Portugal, the last being Alverca with whom he gained promotion to the top flight last season, making 20 appearances.
