Cape Town City have parted ways with veteran attacking midfielder Mpho Makola, the club confirmed on Wednesday.
Makola, 36, made 15 appearances for City this season and still had a contract until until June 2023.
He is understood to have fallen out with Eric Tinkler, with the club confirming his departure on Wednesday morning.
Overall, Makola made 94 appearances for City, scoring three goals and setting up five more.
He joined the Citizens from Pirates in 2019.
