Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Thabang Sibanyoni has joined Magesi FC on a permanent basis for the 2025/26 season.
The 29-year-old returns to Dikwena Tša Meetse after he spent the second half of last season with the club, notching up two goals and two assists in 12 outings.
A statement form the club on Wednesday morning read as follows:
“Magesi Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of striker Thabang Sibanyoni.
“The 29-year-old forward has signed with the club for the 2025/26 season.
“Sibanyoni is not new to the Dikwena Tša Meetse setup.
“He spent the second half of last season with the club, having joined on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns.
“He went on to feature in 12 games for Magesi FC, scoring two crucial goals, and also created two assists.
“The club would like to take this opportunity to welcome Sibanyoni back. We wish him all the best for the season.”
