Orlando Pirates have announced their new captains for the 2025/26 season after Innocent Maela has left the club.
Maela left the club at the end of last season, having donned the armband since 2022 when he took over from Happy Jele.

The club announced on Wednesday that Nkosinathi Sibisi has been named the club’s new captain after a vote by the first-team players.
“It is truly an honour and privilege to be named captain of this great institution,” Sibsi told the club’s media team.
“It’s a responsibility that I accept and promise to fulfil the role in the best way I possibly can.”
Meanwhile, Thapelo Xoki and Mbekezeli Mbokazi were voted as vice captains for the coming season.
