Uruguayan star Gastón Sirino has joined Durban City ahead of the 2026/27 season after parting ways with Kaizer Chiefs.
The 35-year-old spent two seasons with the Phefeni Glamour Boys, having joined them at the beginning of the 2024/25 season from Mamelodi Sundowns.

After struggling for regular game-time under co-coaches Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze, he departed at the end of the previous campaign.
During his two-year stay at Chiefs, Sirino made 52 appearances, scoring five goals and providing eight assists.
Ahead of the new season, he was unveiled alongside seven other signings by the reigning Nedbank Cup champions.
“Durban City FC has further strengthened its first-team squad with the addition of eight new players ahead of the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season,” the club stated.
