Official: Zothwane To Land New Club After Magesi Exit

Former Magesi FC assistant coach Papi Zothwane is set to join the Richards Bay technical team as they continue their search for a head coach after Brandon Truter’s exit.

The relegation-threatened outfit have had a torrid first half of the season and have won just two with nine draws in their opening 14 games and currently occupy 14th place, just two points above bottom-placed Magesi FC.

The KwaZulu-Natal-based side recently parted ways with Truter following a poor run of results which saw them going seven matches without a win. Ronnie Gabriel and Siboniso Gumede took over in the interim, but the results didn’t change much as they only collected one win in six matches.

This publication has established that the Natala Rich Boyz are set to rope in the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana midfielder to aid them steer the ship in the right direction.

iDiski Times has been reliably informed that Zothwane has left Magesi FC already as he’s set to join the Bay technical team.

The former Lamontville Golden Arrows midfielder recently made history with Magesi by winning the Carling Knockout Cup beating Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 in the final.
