Polokwane City coach Phuti Mohafe is worried that winger Oswin Appollis’ goals have dried up because of opponents’ knowledge on him but also that they are devising a plan to get him back to his best.
Appollis has been a sensation for Rise and Shine helping them gain outright promotion to the Betway Premiership two seasons ago and in their first season back in topflight he was instrumental in their top 8 finish.

This season he only has two goals in 17 league matches with Mohafe saying the reasons are that teams have studied the 23-year-old and naturally they are both worried he’s not scoring.
“I think now teams know him,” said Mohafe after City’s defeat to Magesi FC.
“They know him very well and when we play these teams are double marking him. So, we came up with another plan for him to come and be the top player again that we produced the previous the season and the player that we produced for the national team.

“Everyone has to be worried when he’s not producing and even me as the coach when the results are not coming, I become worried.
“So, I think he’s more worried than me because if he doesn’t score the team doesn’t win.
