The Premier Soccer League (PSL) have confirmed the official dates for the start of the 2025 promotion/relegation play-offs.
With Cape Town City now confirmed in the play-offs after finishing 15th, they will contest in a mini-league system against Casric Stars and Orbit College who finished second and third in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
It will now be each side facing each other in home and away fixtures with the one team who finished top being part of 2025/26 Betway Premiership campaign, with City having a chance to retain their status or the latter two having the chance for promotion.
Durban City have already sealed promotion by virtue of winning the second-tier, albeit after being contested in court by JDR Stars and Cape Town Spurs over allegations of an improperly registered player.
