The PSL DC have dismissed the case between Durban City and JDR Stars, who had alleged that Saziso Magawana was incorrectly registered, meaning City have secured promotion to the Betway Premiership.
On Sunday, City were supposed to be crowned Motsepe Foundation Championship champions and gain automatic promotion to the Betway Premiership but all that was put on hold after JDR Stars played against City under protest, claiming that Saziso Magawana was incorrectly registered, as first reported by iDiski Times.

The hearing for JDR Stars and Durban City took place earlier on Tuesday at 16h30 and the case was dismissed by PSL DC, which means that City has been promoted to the Betway Premiership.
The next hearing is at 18h30 for Cape Town Spurs and City for the same player Magawana who they also claim he was incorrectly registered, but the same outcome is expected after JDR’s case was thrown out.
Should this be finalised it will simple mean, Casric Stars and ORBIT College will participate in the promotion playoffs against a team that will finish in 15th place in the Betway Premiership.
Meanwhile, Durban City – former Maritzburg United – have been promoted to the Betway Premiership.
