AmaZulu FC were eliminated in the semifinals of the Prince Mangosuthu Legacy Cup, with Nsingizini Hotspurs retaining the title.
Nsingizini secured a victory on penalties over the ABC Motsepe League side Ulundi United in the tournament final, which was held at Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi Stadium in Ulundi.

The match had ended 1-1 in 90 minutes before Nsingizini sealed the triumph.
In last year’s edition, the final between AmaZulu and Nsingizini was abandoned due to a waterlogged pitch at the same venue with the title ultimately shared.
The tournament began with the first semifinal, in which Usuthu suffered a 2-0 defeat to ABC Motsepe League side Ulundi United.
Philasande Mbatha and Mandisa Khumalo scored in the first and second halves, respectively, to book Ulundi’s place in the final.
The second semifinal saw Nsingizini, led by Mandla Qhogi, eliminate Eswatini side Mbabane Highlanders AM 4-1 on penalties.
The match ended 0-0 after 90 minutes. Mbabane Highlanders AM chairman Andile Mpisane missed a penalty in the shootout as Nsingizini advanced to the final.
Nsingizini then went on to edge Ulundi in the final on penalties again.
