Orlando Pirates winger Vincent Pule is happy to be back on the field and contributing at the club after returning from injury.
The 31-year-old missed the better part of the previous season with the injury and even the start of the current season. Since his return he has played seven matches and has one assist for the Buccaneers having also recently renewed his contract by three years with the club, something he said showed commitment from both parties.
Talking to IDiski Times Senior Writer Velile Mnyandu in edition 134 of the newspaper Pule said he is in a better place and just wants to perform at his best.
“As a player, you always want to be back inside the field and make sure that you perform at your level best” said Pule.
“And I think for me I had a very difficult time through injuries. I think now I’m starting to get back in the team and I’m at a happy place at the moment”
Pirates are in action on Sunday when they face Golden Arrows way in the weekend’s only DStv Premiership fixture.
