Mamelodi Sundowns striker Iqraam Rayners has pleaded with the club supporters to come out in numbers as their target maximum points against Chippa United on Wednesday evening.
Rayners has been massive for Sundowns since completing the move from Stellenbosch FC at the beginning of the season. The former SuperSport United striker has been involved in 20 goals, scoring 11 and setting up nine more in the Betway Premiership. He is currently four goals away from equalling the goals tally he scored last season.
Going to the Chippa clash, Sundowns have one hand on the league title, as seven points will seal their eighth successive league trophy, with Rayners asking Sundowns supporters to come out in numbers and support the team on Wednesday.

“It’s always difficult to play teams at the bottom because they’re fighting to get into the top eight, they’re fighting sometimes for their lives, but for us it’s important to get the points and focus on the next game,” Rayners told Sundowns’ media.
“For us, it’s just taking one game at a time and collecting maximum points, that’s all we do.
“I just want to tell the supporters to come out in numbers and be behind the boys, support them, sing for them, and we will get results.”
