Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro has praised Kaizer Chiefs ahead of the upcoming Soweto Derby, insisting the log is not a true reflection of Amakhosi’s performances this season.
Riveiro will feature in his sixth derby, having won the last three after losing his first two, and many see Pirates as favourites this time around.

The Buccaneers currently sit in second spot with 27 points from 11 games, six behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns with a game in hand but also six ahead of their Soweto rivals who have played three games more.
But despite Chiefs being in fifth place, Riveiro insisted they should sit higher up on the log.
“I think Chiefs is playing really well this season,” the Spaniard stated in the Soweto Derby pre-match press conference.
“I don’t think that the log is a reflection of Chiefs performances in the league so far – I’m honest.
