Mamelodi Sundowns attacking midfielder Nuno Santos has revealed what has been the key to his recent surge in form.
The Portuguese playmaker joined Sundowns at the start of the season from Vitória Guimarães and, after showing early promise, has become increasingly influential in recent weeks.

He has registered four goals and seven assists across all competitions, particularly shining in the Betway Premiership and the CAF Champions League.
Santos says he now feels far more comfortable than when he first arrived, crediting his teammates for helping him settle and adapt to both the culture and style of play in South Africa.
“No, I’m enjoying. I’m enjoying training every day to be better,” Santos told Sundowns media department.
“My teammates also help me a lot and I’m feeling more comfortable now than when I arrived.
“But it’s a process, it’s normal. I’m getting used to the culture, to the playing game here and I’m happy.”
Regarding the Marumo Gallants that Sundowns will play this evening, Santos said it is crucial for Mamelodi Sundowns to walk away with all three points.
“No, nowadays in football there’s no easy games. We have to go with the right mentality, with the right intentions, with the right focus to the game,” he added.
“Like that we can have a great game. We will be able to impose our playstyle. And the most important thing is to get away with the three points.”
