Siwelele coach Lehlohonolo Seema insists there is no reason to panic despite his side’s difficult start to the Betway Premiership season.
The Free State outfit have lost two and drawn one of their opening three matches, leaving them still searching for their first win.
However, Seema believes his team have been performing well and says their biggest problem has been failing to convert the chances they have created.
“I’m not worried that much because of the way we’re playing,” said Seema.
“It’s just that we can’t convert, it’s something we all know and that we can see.”
Seema revealed that Siwelele have also signed strikers who are still awaiting the necessary paperwork to be cleared to work in South Africa before they can make their debut.
The coach remains confident that the team will soon turn their fortunes around after collecting just one point from a possible nine in their opening three matches.
“There’s no strikers, we can’t rely on midfielders to get us goals, at the moment we haven’t gotten the players we want, we’re waiting for [papers], there’s nothing we can do,” he added.
“But I’m not missing anyone, I’m happy with the squad that I have. I can tell you we’re going to turn the corner.
“It’s a bad trip, losing two away games, it’s bad for us and our supporters but this team we are going to turn the corner.”
