Sekhukhune United head coach Lehlohonolo Seema says he knew from the beginning that on-loan midfielder Katlego Otladisa would not feature against his parent club Orlando Pirates.
The 28-year-old was not in the match-day squad when Babina Noko lost 2-1 to Pirates at the old Peter Mokaba Stadium in the league on Wednesday evening.
Otladisa is with Sekhukhune for the remainder of the season, having struggled to get game-time at Pirates in the last season and a half.
He has so far played six matches for the Limpopo side in all competitions and has one goal in the Nedbank Cup, but Seema admitted that they always knew the terms of the agreement.
“No, it’s not like I knew today,” Seema answered IDiski Times when asked how he felt having to do without the player.
“So from the onset we knew so it doesn’t matter. We had to plan we knew that today we are not going to have him.
“So it didn’t unsettle us anywhere we planned accordingly so there was no problem, but definitely he is a part of the team.”
