Seema On Otladisa’s Contribution On Debut

Sekhukhune United head coach Lehlohonolo Seema says he is pleased with Katlego Otladisa’s contribution in his first game for the club.

The 28-year-old winger joined Babina Noko last Friday on a loan deal from Orlando Pirates until the end of the season.

He started in the 1-1 Betway Premiership draw against Polokwane City at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday and lasted the whole 90 minutes.

Otladisa hadn’t featured for his mother club this season and had just one appearance on the bench.

Seema said he was pleased with the player’s contribution even though he is still getting used to how things are done at Sekhukhune and having not played in a while, adding that the side needed Otladisa’s experience and quality which are some of the reasons he started the match.

“He is a player that everybody knows,” Seema answered iDiski Times when asked about the player.

“He’s a player that is still trying to understand the way we do things and he has been with us for some time now. And for him to start today shows that he is experienced and the quality we really want to use because we know what he can do. We saw he had some good moments here playing after a long time.

“So we are happy with his contribution and for sure we are making a depth because we still have the players that came towards the end of the game. Like I have said to you those are the weapons, players that we will say come towards the end of the game we inject with some more energy.

“But the conditions were not good and I’m happy with his contribution. You can mention [Ellis] Rammala also, he played his first game today and he did well and in an unfamiliar position for that matter.”
