iDiski Times has learnt that Sekhukhune United are looking to lure Richards Bay FC co-coach Papi Zothwane as they continue strengthening Cedric Kaze’s technical team ahead of the 2026/27 season.
With most PSL clubs set to return to training next week to begin preparations for the new campaign, Sekhukhune have started assembling their coaching structure after making changes to the technical department.

The Limpopo-based outfit, who were among the clubs without a confirmed head coach for next season, recently appointed former Kaizer Chiefs assistant Cedric Kaze as their new head coach.
The Burundian tactician replaced Eric Tinkler, who was dismissed in April, just weeks before the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.
Kaze parted ways with Amakhosi at the end of the previous campaign following the expiry of his contract, with fellow co-coach Khalil Ben Youssef also leaving Naturena.
Sekhukhune have retained Paulus Masehe as assistant coach after he previously served under Tinkler and also took charge of the team on an interim basis for several matches last season.
Now, this website has been informed that Babina Noko are targeting Papi Zothwane to complete Kaze’s technical team ahead of the start of pre-season preparations.
Zothwane has been part of the Richards Bay setup since January 2025, working alongside Ronnie Gabriel in a co-coaching role. The pair successfully guided the Natal Rich Boyz to PSL safety and helped stabilise the club during a challenging period.
Should the move materialise, Zothwane would add valuable PSL experience to Sekhukhune’s new-look technical team as the club aims to mount a strong challenge in the upcoming campaign.
