Sekhukhune Utd Set To Part Ways With Tinkler

Sekhukhune United held a meeting earlier today with head coach Eric Tinkler to discuss his immediate exit from the club.

iDiski Times learned that Sekhukhune United are on the verge of sacking Tinkler after a drop in performances from the side in the second half of the season.

Before the late winner against Magesi FC, Tinkler was already under massive pressure after going six matches without a win, including a Nedbank Cup exit to Motsepe Foundation Championship side Milford FC.

There were meetings after meetings at Sekhukhune, as the team dropped in the league and chances of qualifying for CAF inter-club competition were getting slimmer.

Despite the late winner against rivals Magesi FC, Babina Noko management felt that the time had arrived for a change at the club. Discussions for a settlement are already underway on Monday.

Tinkler has been in charge of 38 matches at United since his arrival in March last year. He won 16 games, drew 12, and lost 10.

Babina Noko will travel to the Western Cape this coming weekend, as they face Stellenbosch FC in the Betway Premiership league match. It remains unclear who will lead the side in that clash.
