September On Kwayiba Scoring Again

Chippa United coach Thabo September is pleased to Sinoxolo Kwayiba rediscovering his goalscoring touch yet again.

The 24-year-old scored a brace in Chippa’s 4-1 demolition of Magesi FC in a league game played over two days due to power outage at Seshego Stadium last week.

The brace took his tally to four goals having ironically scored twice against the same opponent in November.

September also noted that Kwayiba scoring is also good for the national team, while also applauding other players like Sean Ndlovu who also scored his first goal for the Chilli Boys in Seshego.

“Brilliant, I think it’s good for us to have Kwayiba coming out because when we started the season, he didn’t get these goals as normal as he used to,” September answered iDiski Times when asked about the former Pretoria Callies man.

“So now they are coming so it’s good confidence for us to get players get back into their confidence.

“Ndlovu, he played right-back today he’s a centre-back and we knew on set-pieces that Magesi were dangerous, so we brought him in to help us with that and also, he was dangerous on set-pieces”.

“It’s good when a plan comes to fruition but overall, I’m happy with a lot of the players, all of the players that we put in there today. To see Kwayiba coming up is good for the national team, it’s good for us as a team.”

Chippa were back in action on Saturday but lost 1-0 away at TS Galaxy.
