Supersport United came from a goal down to beat Orlando Pirates 3-1 thanks to an inspired performance by teenage sensation Shandre Campbell.
Pirates got off to a perfect start after Fortune Makaringe was picked out by ?? at the far post and scored the opener inside five minutes.
Just five minutes later Bradley Grobler found himself free on the edge of the box but a superb tackle by Olisa Ndah denied him a clear opportunity.
Karim Kimvuidi then had a chance to make it 2-0 after 26 minutes after being tied up by Thembinkosi Lorch but his shot just went wide.
Instead, it was SuperSport who got better into the game and equalised thanks via academy product Shandre Campbell, who was set up superbly by Grant Margeman after 35 minutes.
Grobler made up for his earlier miss 10 minutes into the second half, being at the end of a corner by Campbell after Melusi Buthelezi failed to clear the ball.
Pirates almost equalised in the 64th minute but substitute Zakhele Lepasa’s attempt was cleared off the line by Ime Okon.
Just as the Buccaneers were pressing for an equaliser, Buthelezi made a real meal at the back under pressure from Campbell, who stole the ball from under his feet to find the empty net.
The win sees Matsatsantsa climb to 29 points on the log, six behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, who have four games in hand, but more importantly four clear of runners-up rivals Pirates.
