Stellenbosch FC have completed the signing of Milford FC midfielder Mthetheleli Mthiyane.
iDiski Times can confirm that Stellies completed the signing of Mthiyane from the Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit for an undisclosed fee to get the midfield maestro.
The 24-year-old was scheduled to go through assessment at Kaizer Chiefs before Stellies pounced and signed him.
Mthiyane arrived in the Western Cape last night to conclude the move. After the departure of Sihle Nduli to Orlando Pirates, Stellies saw the need to quickly get a similar player to his style of play.
It remains to be seen whether Mthiyane will be available on Sunday for the MTN8 quarterfinal clash against AmaZulu FC at the DHL Stadium.
