Mamelodi Sundowns legend Teko Modise is of the notion that opposition coaches and supporters are irritated by his former club’s dominance.
Masandawana could be on course to defend their eighth successive Betway Premiership title as they hold a healthy 15-point lead over second-placed Orlando Pirates, though the latter have played four games less.

Sundowns have lost just two of their 19 league matches this season coming away with 17 wins with the former midfield maestro maintaining that the defending league champions do not get the respect they deserve.
“We work in the media space, you read articles, you read other coaches’ comments about the club,” Modise said on The Pitchside Podcast.
“For me it’s not a big thing, but I just know the amount of disrespect Mamelodi Sundowns gets. And it’s not that people don’t like the team, they are just tired.
