Mamelodi Sundowns and Marumo Gallants’ fixture in the DStv Premiership has been changed due to their CAF inter-club commitments.
Sundowns advanced to the semi-finals of the Champions League after a 6-2 aggregate win over Algerian champions CR Belouizdad, while Gallants ousted Egyptian Premier League side Pyramids 2-1 to advance to the last-four of the Confederation Cup.
Masandawana will face Wydad, while Gallants, who are also fighting relegation in the league will meet Young Africans – with both games being two-legged ties, with the opening encounters scheduled for next week.
However, to alleviate the fixture congestion, the game between Sundowns and Gallants, scheduled for Saturday, May 13 – has been brought to this weekend, May 6 and the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
Sundowns are chasing a record points tally in the South African top-flight, while 14th-placed Gallants are two points ahead of Chippa United in 15th and three ahead of 16th-placed Maritzburg with three rounds of fixtures remaining.
