Mamelodi Sundowns and Siwelele FC have announced their starting line-ups for the Betway Premiership encounter at the Lucas Moripe Stadium this afternoon.

Sundowns return to the pitch just three days after facing Kaizer Chiefs in a 1-1 draw at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

The fight for Masandawana to defend this season’s league title for the ninth consecutive time continues, and they could go six points clear of Orlando Pirates with a win – but will have two games in hand.

Masandawana are currently sitting in first place with 65 points after 28 games, having played one game more than Orlando Pirates. A win for Downs would see them go six points clear at the top, while Pirates will face Magesi FC immediately after this game.

Siwelele’s hopes of finishing in the top eight are still alive, as they sit in ninth place with 33 points after 27 games. The green and white side lost just one game out of 12 games in 2026, however eight draws have seen them still outside the top eight, and they have won three matches.

One thing guaranteed is that Siwelele will play in the Betway Premiership next season, as they are mathematically safe from relegation and promotion playoffs.

Here is how they will line up:

Sundowns XI: Williams, Mudau, Kekana, Ndamane, Modiba, Mokoena, Allende, Santos, Letlhaku, Matthews, Leoń.

Subs: Onyango, Johannes, Sales, Lunga, Ntsabeleng, Mkhulise, Zwane, Mdunyelwa, Rayners.

Siwelele XI: Goss, Mfolozi, Mobbie, Ndebele, Rapoo, Mokhuoane, Margeman, Moralo, Potsane, Jeza, Lungu.

Subs: Xulu, Baliti, Baloyi, Lekalakala, Letshedi, Maku, Mazibuko, Ngwato, Moloisane,
