Sekhukhune United head coach Eric Tinkler has shared an update on Rivaldo Coetzee, who has been training with his team for some time now.
It was recently reported widely that Babina Noko and the player were closing in on agreeing on a short-term contract that would keep him at the club for the remainder of the season.

Coetzee began training with the Limpopo outfit late last year, having parted ways with Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of the previous campaign.
When asked about the player, Tinkler said Coetzee is still just training with the squad, noting that it is important to understand that the player has been out of competitive action for more than a year.
Despite this, the coach highlighted the significant progress Coetzee has made during his time with the team, while also praising the level of professionalism he has consistently showed.
“Rivaldo is training with us. He’s still with us. Rivaldo has spent more than a year out,” said Tinkler.
“He’s 28 years old, I’ve allowed him to train with us. I’ve seen massive progress in him.
“Time will tell but he’s a good pro.”
