After three weeks out injured, Cape Town City coach Eric Tinkler confirmed the return of Khanyisa Mayo ahead of El-Kapito.
Mayo suffered an injury against Supersport United on 3rd January. The 24-year-old missed the last three games where City won two games and drew one game.
“Khanyisa he had his first training session on Thursday,” Tinkler said on Friday evening at the DHL Stadium.
“When I say training session back with a full team came through it no issues are good.
“But I felt like for this game then him have a proper week of training fully with the team and then obviously make himself available for the Stellenbosch game but he’s back full training.”
This means Mayo will be available for Cape Town derby against Stellenbosch on Friday at the Danie Craven Stadium.
