iDiski TV analyst Benedict Vilakazi has made a bold claim that Nasreddine Nabi is no different to his predecessors at Kaizer Chiefs, Molefi Ntseki and Arthur Zwane if not worse than the duo.
This comes after Chiefs’ 2-1 defeat at the hands of Golden Arrows in Durban on Saturday, their 10th overall league loss this season which saw them remain in eighth position with 29 points from 23 matches.
The former Orlando Pirates skipper reckons that his claim is backed by the records of the two former Chiefs coaches saying they were in better positions with more points at the same mark of the season in their tenures.
“I have said this before, and people thought I was just being naughty,” said ‘Tso’ on iDiski TV.
“I said I see a disaster because for me there is no difference between him [Nabi] and what coach Ntseki and coach Zwane were doing. There is no difference. He plays the same way these guys were playing. Arthur was in a better position with points compared to Nabi and I think the only difference is that a lot of teams have dropped this season compared to previous seasons when Ntseki and Zwane were there.”
“Okay I see the number of games and points he has now but can coach Nabi show us who he is, what does he have in his pocket? He is playing exactly how Arthur played using width, crossings, switching it’s the same thing. If the club thought that coach Ntseki and coach Zwane were not good enough here is Nabi doing the same thing the two coaches did.

“There is pressure with where they are on the log and looking at the teams around them who have games in hand because if they win those matches, they will jump Chiefs.
“What makes Nabi worse for me is that he had an opportunity to sign new players whereas coach Zwane and Ntseki had to use the same players and were in a better position. I don’t see coach Nabi taking Chiefs in a good direction with the way he plays.”
