Pirates raced into the halftime break 2-0 up after Tshepang Moremi and Oswin Appollis scored.
In the second period, the visitors wrapped up the match with Makgopa completing the rout in the 78th minute for his fifth overall derby goal against Chiefs.
‘Tso’ applauded ‘Ngwana Sesi’ for having big match temperament after coming off the bench to seal the match.
“Derbies are big games for big players. He might not have the qualities that we are looking for but he does have something special,” Tso said on iDiski TV.
“Every time there’s big games like this, he comes in and shows his quality, shows his presence as a big player in a big game like this.
“And he makes a difference. He always rise. He comes in and scores a goal in a derby. It’s not an easy game that you can be out for a long time and he just came in and now he’s scored a goal. That’s not an easy thing.
“But for his qualities and what he’s got personally, he’s got something special.”
