iDiski TV analyst Benedict Vilakazi has called on Orlando Pirates to pounce on Chippa United left-winger Giovanni Philander and Marumo Gallants striker Junior Zindoga before their value skyrockets once the season is over.
Philander, 24, hails from the Mamelodi Sundowns reserve side and joined the Chilli Boys after being snapped up from FN Rangers in July 2024. 26-year-old Zindoga on the other hand recently signed for Bahlabane Ba Ntwa from Eswatini outfit Nsingizini Hotspurs FC under the tutelage of the now-departed Dan Malesela.
Philander has featured 11 times for the Chilli Boys across all competitions with a single assist this term while the Zimbabwean Zindoga has made six appearances in all competitions with a goal to his name.
‘Tso’ is of the notion that Pirates should pounce on the duo right now before they become expensive.
“There’s one boy that impressed me from Chippa. The left-winger Philander,” Tso told iDiski TV.
“Guys, I’m going to talk to the two of you [Pirates’ technical scout].’ Here’s a boy!
“If you can fetch him tomorrow, he will be R1 million but when the season ends he will be R10 million. I don’t know what people will be crying about then.
“Here’s an opportunity now to get this boy. The other one [Zindoga] people will be crying when I talk about him.
