Xoki & Nduli Feature Again This Season? Ouaddou Responds

Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has provided an injury update on duo Sihle Nduli and Tapelo Xoki as the season draws to a close.

Nduli has been sidelined with a serious foot injury since November 2025 during a Betway Premiership tie against Golden Arrows, going on to miss the remainder of last year.

The 31-year-old Xoki on the other hand, last featured for the club in May 2025 and suffered a serious injury in a horrific accident on the R21 highway, which involved himself, head coach Ouaddou, goalkeeper coach Tyron Damons and a member of the backroom.

Ouaddou has since provided a positive update on the two players though he admitted they might not play part before this campaign ends.

“Doing well. He’s [Nduli] in rehabilitation now,” Ouaddou told the media.

“It’s very important to stay close to these kind of players. Not only him, Tapelo as well. They are part of our senior players, very experienced players and they are doing well both of them.

“We see them know they start to come back on the pitch. Working for some of them, ready for the other ones. So, they are on track, and I cannot tell you that maybe we have a chance to see them before the end of the season because you know it has been very serious injuries for both of them.

“So, the most important is to make a very good rehabilitation in order to come back stronger.”
