AmaZulu FC co-coach Arthur Zwane believes that they are capable of beating any team in the league as they prepare to take on Orlando Pirates this evening.
Usuthu haven’t started the season well as they have already parted ways with the head coach Pablo Martin after poor results. Zwane and Vusumzi Vilakazi got a baptism of fire last weekend when they faced Stellenbosch FC in the Carling Knockout Cup and got knocked out on extra time.
Their tough fixtures continue this evening at Orlando Stadium against high-flying Pirates as Usuthu aim to get their first points of the season and move as quickly they can from the basement of the log.
After the clash against Stellenbosch, ‘10111’ grew a belief that Usuthu could beat any team in the league but encouraged the players to play without any fear.
“We want our players to play without fear,” Zwane explained.

“You can’t be in the Premiership and have fear of winning games, we can beat anyone.
“Stellenbosch, with the quality team they have, not so long ago were playing in the final [of the MTN8 against Pirates] and they did well.
“And we gave them a scare, so it was not a walk in the park for them. When we look at where we come from and as much as Stellenbosch beat us, they had to dig deep for them to go to the next round.
“So, there are no easy games in the league and we still have a lot to do in terms of trying to make sure that there are tactical abilities in the squad and there is a tactical understanding and endurance.
“We are not worried about the opposition at the moment, we are worried about our squad… [we want] to get the best out of the players.”
The clash between Pirates and Usuthu eSgodini kicks off at 19:30.
