Bayer 04 Leverkusen manager Erik Ten Hag has claimed that his former player Antony is ‘like a son to me’ but that the German giants won’t be looking to buy him.
Ten Hag has in the past signed the Brazilian winger two occasions – bringing him to Ajax Amsterdam from Sao Paulo in 2020 and then to Manchester United in 2022.

“He has great quality. I signed him twice. He was like a son to me, he still is a son to me,” the Dutch mentor told BILD, according to Daily Mail.
“We’re not interested in him at the moment, but we’ll see what happens in the future.”
Antony signed for the Red Devils for £86million in 2022 but has failed to live up to his price tag and was shipped out on loan to Real Betis where he scored nine goals in 26 games and his future increasingly lies away from Old Trafford.
