Brandon Truter has named his first AmaZulu FC starting XI for this evening’s CAF Champions League encounter against Horoya in Conakry after replacing Benni McCarthy.
Usuthu, who appointed Truter as interim coach till the end of the season after parting ways with McCarthy last week Friday, will be keen to finish their inaugural CAF Champions League campaign on a high.
Friday’s game could be seen as a dead rubber, with both Horoya and AmaZulu already knocked out of the competition, but the home side could still overtake the South African team on the log, if they were to beat them by two goals.
AmaZulu are currently sitting third on the standings of Group B with six points, while Horoya are sitting in fourth with three points.
