AmaZulu could take a big step towards qualifying for the CAF Champions League knockout stages if they can get a result when Algerian club ES Setif host Usuthu on Saturday night at the Stade du 5 Juillet 1962.
Usuthu head into tonight’s game in second place in Group B on six points after three games, three behind leaders Raja Casablanca, but three ahead of third-placed Setif. Bottom-placed Horoya are yet to get off the mark.
AmaZulu, who are making their debut in the CAF Champions League, beat Setif 1-0 in Durban at the end of February.
A victory for Benni McCarthy and his team could see them move six points clear of Setif and with just two more games, and the head-to-head rule in place, a victory will almost certainly seal a spot in the knockout stages.
