Chiefs Announce Line-Up For Wydad
Kaizer Chiefs have announced their starting XI to face Wydad Casablanca for their CAF Champions League second leg.
Chiefs have made two changes, with Daniel Akpeyi stepping in as goalkeeper, with Bruce Bvuma dropping out of the squad, while Nkosingiphile Ngcobo replaces Leonardo Castro, who is also absent.
Amakhosi are 90 minutes away from creating history and qualify for the CAF Champions League for a first time ever.
They enter the game with a 1-0 first-leg victory and an unbeaten home record in the competition this campaign.
The Glamour Boys have won three of their six home games at the FNB Stadium this campaign and are yet to concede a goal.
Wydad, meanwhile, have won just won of their last one of their last six fixtures against South African teams – the 4-0 home victory against Chiefs in the group stage – and have to score in all of the other matches.
The visitors are also winless in all 12 previous knockout games away from home in the CAF Champions League, drawing six and losing six while scoring just three and conceding 13.
