Could Be The Toughest Final – Tshabalala

Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies coach Jerry Tshabalala believes Sunday’s CAF Women’s Champions League final, against Sporting Casablanca could be the toughest final yet.

Sundowns sailed through the group stage winning all their matches including against Casablanca then they dethroned ASFAR club in the semi-final this week.

Casablanca were the second-best team behind Banyana ba style in Group B and they defeated Ghanaian side Ampem Darkoa on penalties to reach the final.

Tshabalala is hoping that the Hollywoodbets Super League champions won’t be complacent against a Moroccan side that is capable of changing tactics at any point.

“It could be a good thing it could be a bad thing [that they have already met],” Tshabalala told iDiski Times.

“I’m just hoping that complacency doesn’t creep in and we start thinking that just because we played them in the group stage we are going to beat them you know.

“One thing that I noticed with the Moroccan teams is that tactically they are very good. They can change their system of play at any time, they can change their tactics at any given time.

“Look at when they played us in the group stage they knew exactly what they wanted they didn’t want to concede many goals they went low blow. And when they played with the team from Ghana they played an open game.

“So we’re very cautious of thinking this could be an easy final. This could be the toughest final of them all.

The final is scheduled for Korhogo Stadium on Sunday at 19:00 SA time.
