Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana legend Doctor Khumalo believes Mamelodi Sundowns can still win the CAF Champions League and bring the second star home.
Masandawana suffered a late blow when Walid El Karti scored the 1-1 equaliser with literally the last attack of the match, which resulted in collective disappointment from the club’s fans and players.

However, there are still at least 90 minutes to be played in Egypt and although Pyramids got the crucial away goal, all is still to play for.
Khumalo also insisted that he believes Sundowns can still win the title if they learn from their mistakes from the first leg at Loftus Versfeld.
“The game is a teacher, and I believe that the coach in his interview after the game has pointed out the mistakes and how to fix them,” he said on SABC3.
“And if Pirates can score two goals away against Pyramids at home, I’d like to believe Sundowns can bring it back home.”
Former Sundowns captain Hlompho Kekana, who lifted the trophy in 2016, also believes his old club still have everything to play for.
“I agree with you, this is still Sundowns’ trophy [to lose],” Kekana echoed Khumalo’s sentiment.
“If they give this Pyramids team the performance they gave in the first 15 minutes of the second half, this trophy is their’s.”
The second leg will take place at the 30 June Air Defence Stadium on 1 June and kick off at 19:00.
