ES Tunis & Sundowns Starting XIs Announced

Espérance Sportive de Tunis and Mamelodi Sundowns have announced their starting line-ups for the CAF Champions League semi-final first leg at the Olympic Stadium in Rades this evening.

Four-time CAF Champions League winners ES Tunis look to add another CAFCL trophy this season, but they will have to through beating African Football League champions Sundowns.

It has been confirmed that 27,500 tickets have been sold, and it is expected that a hostile atmosphere awaits Sundowns.

Sundowns will be playing their sixth match in 20 days after booking their place in the CAFCL Last-four, as well as in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals and moving a step closer to claiming their seventh successive league title.

The clash has a lot at stake with FIFA Club World Cup spot also involved, as a win for Sundowns tonight could book them their ticket.

These two sides faced each other in 2017 in the group stages of CAFCL, when Sundowns lost the first match in Pretoria 2-1 and drew 0-0 in Tunisia.

Both teams have been resilient in the CAF Champions League this season, keeping a clean sheet in nine of their 10 games.

Here is how they line up:

ES Tunis XI: Memmiche, Ben Ali, Meriah, Tka, Rodrigues Silva, Sasse, Tougai, Ghacha, Ben Hmide, Chaleli, Aholou

Subs: Bouguerra, Cherifa, Bouchniba, Amamou, Ben Hamouda, Fredj, Ayeb, Ogbelu, Bukia

Sundowns XI: Williams, Kekana, Mvala, Mudau, Lunga, Aubaas, Modiba, Allende, Zwane, Lorch, Ribeiro Costa

Subs: D. Onyango, B. Onyango, Lebusa, Mbule, Morena, Maseko, Maema, Shalulile, Maboe
