AmaZulu goalkeeper Veli Mothwa says they are ready to fight and give their all when they participate in the CAF Champions League group stages next year.
Usuthu ousted three-time champions TP Mazembe in the previous round and have now been drawn with Raja Atheltic Club, Guinean club Horoya and 2015 champions ES Setif in Group B.
Mothwa says while it will be tough fixtures, they are ready to fight for the points in their maiden group stage appearance.
“With group B, I wouldn’t say it’s a good one or a bad one, but you know [it’s] the first time AmaZulu playing CAF and most of the players also the first time to play CAF,” he told club’s media department after the draw.
“So I think it’s going to be a good group, and we can expect nice games, even tough ones, especially when we play away.
“I’m feeling good about these fixtures, and I’m looking forward to working hard, and seeing where we end up in the group. We are going to keep all ours and we going to perform to the fullest of our hearts.
“With the support that we get from the technical team, the bosses of the team, and the support that we get from our supporters around the KZN.
“I think everything will be fine. So going to these games, we go there prepared and everything will be fine.”
