Orlando Pirates‘ CAF Champions League opponents have been confirmed after Jwaneng Galaxy overcame African Stars FC.
The Namibian champions had caused a major upset in the first leg, beating Morena Ramoreboli’s side 1-0 at home.
However, the Botswana double winners made amends in the second leg and beat their opponents 1-0 inside 90 minutes to equal the tie.
They then won 6-5 on penalties to secure a rematch with Pirates in the second round.
They will now face Pirates for a second year running in the second preliminary round, having knocked the Buccaneers out of the competition last season.
Pirates, meanwhile, beat Disciples FC 3-0 at Orlando Stadium on Friday to book their spot in the next round.
