Mamelodi Sundowns have secured themselves a lofty pay cheque after qualifying for the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League.
Masandawana have reached the last-four in back-to-back season after knocking out Young Africans via penalties on Friday night.
As a consequence, Masandawana have already secured $1.2 million (R22.4 million) in prize money from this year’s competition after CAF increased the prize money from the 2022/23 season.
That amount would increase to at least $2 million (R37.4 million) should they reach the final and a whopping $4 million (R75 million), if they end up winning the competition.
