Two-time African champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies have been drawn in Group A at the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League COSAFA qualifiers conducted on Tuesday morning.
The qualifiers will be hosted in South Africa at the University of Johannesburg’s AW Muller Stadium from 22-31 August 2025.
The five-time Hollywoodbets Super League champions will have to see off competition from Zesco Ndola Girls FC of Zambia, Ntopwa FC of Malawi and Namibian representatives Beauties FC in their pool.
Group B consists of last year’s runners-up Gaborone United from Botswana, Young Buffaloes of Eswatini and Kick4Life WFC from Lesotho, while Group C is headlined by Herentals Queens of Zimbabwe, Costa do Sol of Mozambique and Olympic De Moroni from Comoros Islands.
This year’s qualifiers is seeing a record 10 clubs participating with the top sides and best second placed team advancing to the semi-finals.
The winner will represent the region at the continental finals.
