Orlando Pirates left-back Neo Rapoo has revealed what head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou told them in their pre-match talk prior to the clash against La Cure Waves.
The Buccaneers swept aside the Mauritius outfit 3-1 in the second leg of their First Preliminary Round tie at Orlando Amstel Arena on Saturday after the first leg ended 0-0.

They however had to do it the hard way coming from a goal down to book their spot in the next round courtesy of strikes from Yanela Mbuthuma, Kabelo Kgositsile and Kamogelo Sebelebele to all but wrap up the tie where they now face Namibian champions African Stars.
Rapoo admits that Ouaddou spoke sense into the players to go on the prowl and score early on, an instruction the team carried well.
“Coach told us that we have to score in the first 15 minutes and I think the guys were motivated cause they wanna reach the final stages of the CAF,” he told OP TV.
“But we knew that when we come here, home, we have like a 12th man supporter, so we have to start in a good intensity, score first and then just keep going and score as many goals as we can.
“We knew what we had to do. They were not gonna beat us at home, so we just had to keep going forward and just creating chances and we knew we were gonna get goals.”
