Marumo Gallants have been draw against Pyramids FC in the CAF Confederations Cup quarter-finals during Wednesday’s draw in Cairo.
The DStv Premiership strugglers have had an impressive campaign on the continent and finished their first ever group stages by topping Group A ahead of USM Alger.
Both teams couldn’t draw each other in the quarter-finals, while Gallants also avoided the other table toppers ASEC Mimosas, Young Africans and FAR Rabat, who are the only previous winner of the CAFCC left in the competition.
Instead, they were instead drawn against Fagrie Lakay’s Pyramids from Egypt.
