Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Khalil Ben Youssef says his side deserved “a minimum of a draw” and will have to learn from their mistakes in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Amakhosi lost 2-1 to Al-Masry in Egypt on Sunday, even though they looked on par with the hosts for large parts of the game.

However, they gave away a second-half penalty and a late mistake by Inacio Miguel, who failed to clear a corner, cost the Glamour Boys a better result.
After the match, Ben Youssef tried to find the positives in the defeat in their Group D opener.
“This was the first time that more than 80 percent of our players experienced this level of continental football,” he said, as per Chiefs’ media team.
“It’s very different from the PSL. Here you must be more focused, more aggressive. At this level, matches are decided by very small details. If you lose concentration for even one second, you can concede.
“Looking at our performance, we deserved a minimum of a draw.
“But we have to learn from our mistakes. We’ll analyse the game, look at the positives and the negatives, and continue to work.”
Amakhosi will now host Zamalek at home this coming Saturday, with the Egyptian giants starting their campaign with a 1-0 win over ZESCO United.
