Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that the defensive duo of Inacio Miguel and Aden McCarthy will play no part in Saturday’s final Group D CAF Confederation Cup clash.
Amakhosi currently top the group with 10 points and will be gunning for maximum points even though a draw will be enough to see them through at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in Ismailia on Saturday.
The club have since announced that the two players will be out of the clash due to injury and suspension, respectively.
“Chiefs will be without defenders Inacio Miguel, who is sidelined through injury, and Aden McCarthy, who is suspended after accumulating multiple cautions,” the club announced.
