Kaizer Chiefs have announced their starting line-up ahead of this afternoon’s must-win CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary second leg clash against AS Simba at Dobsonville Stadium.
The Glamour Boys played to a 0-0 draw in the first leg in Democratic Republic of Congo just over a week ago and will look to use their home ground advantage and book their spot in the group stage.
Chiefs co-coach Cedric Kaze believes that they can make history for the club should they overcome the DRC outfit and also spoke about how they have prepared the players for this clash.
“We can make history this weekend and I would like to ask everyone to come and support us at Dobsonville,” he told the club’s website.
“We know what is at stake and all the players have trained hard and are ready to do what it takes to go through.”
Here’s how Chiefs line up:
Chiefs Starting XI: Petersen ©, Cross, McCarthy, Kwinika, Solomons, Mthethwa, Ngcobo, Shabalala, Vilakazi, Lilepo, Ighodaro
Subs: Bvuma, Frosler, Matlou, Cele, Maboe, Sirino, Mmodi, Velebayi, Du Preez
