Former Sekhukhune United forward Abednego Mosiatlhaga produced a stellar performance for Angolan side Bravo de Maquis with a goal and assist in their 3-2 win over CS Sfaxien in the CAF Confederation Cup this past weekend.
‘Nigo’ joined Maquis in February 2024 and was named Player of the Month in November after scoring three goals and providing two assists in the Girabola.

Since then, the South African tricky winger hasn’t taken his foot off the paddle as he produced a stellar performance in match-day two.
The 30-year-old opened the scoring in the 27th minute before Cristo equalized for the visitors. Former Cape Town City striker Jó Paciência then restored parity for the home side in the 39th minute.

In added time of the first period, Mosiatlhaga then assisted Macaiabo who made it 3-1 to Maquis. Sfaxien reduced the deficit through Hazem Haj Hassen in the 47th minute but the Angolan outfit held on to move second place in Group A.
Their next encounter is this coming weekend against Algerian side Constantine in Angola. Constantine is currently sitting top of Group A.
